Craft Show

So I decided to do the Local Craft Show this year. I was hoping to have more stuff but I think I have enough right now and have some more ideas that I will hopefully get to this week. Here is a few of the things I have done right now.

Jingle Bell Hop

Welcome to the AC Bailey Jingle Bell Hop! With the holidays literally around the corner, the AC Bailey Design Team has decided to help Santa (and you) out this year with some fun and easy projects to help make the holiday gift season a bit easier. And just like Santa, we've also gotten some extra help this year and asked some additional elves to help out and post some of their cool projects too! And if that isn't enough help...we've also arranged for some early Black Friday sales just in case you need some products to get the projects completed.

So come out and meet our Elves...check out their projects...leave a comment on their blogs and be eligible for a prize - upload some of your completed projects from any of the tutorials into the ACBailey gallery and be eligible for another prize!

Projects need to be completed and uploaded into the gallery by Tuesday, November 24th at Midnight Eastern to be eligible for a prize.

Hello! You have reached the "end" of your blog hop journey! If you came to me first, or somewhere in the middle make sure you go back to visit the other blogs!

I became a consultant with AC Bailey Designs about 11 months ago and I love it! The girls on the Design Team are always coming up with great ideas to keep us busy and inspired. Also, Erica is just the best! I don't know how she does it, but as busy as she is she gets your questions answered and orders out immediately! If you are not already part of the ACB family, make sure you hop on over and join the forum and I can answer any questions you have about becoming a consultant!

Freaky Friday 10/30/2009

For this weeks Freaky Friday Challenge at AC Bailey Designs we had to dig deep into that stash of pictures. I mean....REALLY deep!! We had to scrap a layout about US on Halloween!! It could be from when we were a child or even a past Halloween in 'witch' we dressed up!!

I used Fancy Pants Trick or Treat (skull and candy corn)Pink Paislee Twilight Collections Borderlines Making Memories Spook Alley Shimmer Rub-ons Fancy Pants trick or treat rub-ons Stickles Buttons (mixed from different companies that I don't remember)and Halloween Spooktakular ribbon.

Halloween 2009

This is the costume Colin picked out this year. The mask that came with it didn't fit his head so we grabbed this one at the last minute. I usually make his costume so I was disappointed when he wanted to buy one this year :(

Silly Kiddo

I was trying to dig up some pictures of Colin and my mom emailed these three to me.

Sickness!!

I got whatever is going around whether it is a cold or H1N1 I have no idea. I called the Dr. and they said they are only treating dehydration and difficulty breathing so I didn't even bother going. I was so sick I didn't even feel like scrapping! I literally slept from Tuesday afternoon until Friday morning. I hope whatever this is skips over all of you and your families! I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy.

Croptoberfest!

I wish I could have played more this weekend at the AC bailey Croptoberfest but I ended up being busy. Friday night I was exhausted, Saturday I helped at the Humane Society Thrift Shop and then got to eat lunch with my niece. She was here from Mississippi. I hadn't seen her in about 2 years, we had a great lunch! Wish I could have spent more time with her though. Then Sunday we went to McCall's Pumpkin Patch.
Here is my page for Challenge #6 Fall Traditions. I scrapped my pictures from last years McCall's trip!

Freaky Friday Challenge at AC bailey

The Freaky Friday Challenge at AC Bailey this week was to scrap about a way of dress, a tradition, or a food that shows your heritage. My Memories are not only of these two tables but also the food and the cakes!
My Journaling reads:The dining room table. At our house we could easily squeeze 8-10 people around it. At my grandparents house we would squeeze in about 18-20! All celebrations were centered around those two tables. Always surrounded by family, parents, grandparents, friends, godparents, neighbors, siblings, and cousins. I have that huge table in storage and someday I will have a house big enough to hold it!
I used Marks paper Company, August Collection; Scenic Route Chipboard and Cape Town monogram stickers; Cloud 9 Designs rain dots; Bazzil cardstock; and a leftover brad and ribbon from an AC Bailey Kit of the Month (can't remember which month).

National Card Making Day

Hey everyone! Are you interested in making cards this weekend? Well AC Bailey has another weekend of challenges lined up! The post and the link to the post are below. If you haven't already, sign up for the Forum and get to card making!

http://www.acbaileyltd.com/forum/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=80&t=1236

If you are here, you are interested in joining us, join millions all around the world, to share in the love of card making. While my scrapping is personally rewarding, card making brings me even greater joy as I get to share my craft -on a more intimate level, with someone else-the card recipient.Whether you are an experienced card maker, an occasional card maker, or a scrapper who has never ventured into the card making arena before, let me welcome you on behalf of the entire AC Bailey Design team!We hope you have fun and learn something interesting today - we have designed some challenges and a contest with the hopes that you will learn something new, be entertained, and motivated to create your own special cards. So,....let's get started! There is a special folder in the gallery to upload all your card images to. It is called World Card Making Day 2009.When you click on this you will see CATEGORIES (to the left) and the challenges 1-7 are listed (backwards no less). Click on the folder for the challenge you completed. Upload your image for the challenge, placing it in the proper folder. Here is your contest - our goal is to get 100 cards posted this weekend into that folder in the gallery! Help us and you could win a prize! Everyone who contributes this weekend will go into the hat once for every card added! The more you make, the more chances you get to win our Grand Prize. But-we also want QUALITY ladies, and NEW cards (not stuff you have shared before), and no card KIT kinda things-original designs please (scrap lifting is okay but you gotta cut/glue all your own papers, etc.). All cards must be posted by midnight Sunday (EST) and if we hit 100 cards sometime sooner, that is OK - keep making cards, cause each card gets one chance in the drawing.Below you will see seven challenges/tutorials prepared for you by the AC Bailey Design Team members. These are here to help you and guide you and in some cases, they may even entertain you! For each challenge/category listed below there is a prize being awarded. Treat bags for Colin's Class

Treat bags made with some halloween die cuts and paper scraps I had.

New Blog

So I decided that I should start my own blog. I was inspired by the ladies at the AC Bailey Forum, and also the movie Julie and Julia.

I am a consultant for AC Bailey designs which is a very uinique direct sales scrapbooking company. I started scrapbooking about 8 years ago, but just recently started pulling out my supplies more than once a year.

I am working on getting some crops and classes going. I would like to inspire other people to perserve their memories in a fun and unique way. I would also like to teach people how to make cards and gifts to save money and be different.
